About Plotbook

We build for the boots,
not the boardroom.

Plotbook started with a simple, maddening question heard on every site: "Is Plot 12 signed off?" — and the honest answer that follows it: "Let me find out." We're here to make that answer instant.

Why we exist

The job was never the problem. Finding the job was.

Trades don't lack effort or skill. What they lack is a single, honest picture of where every plot actually stands — because that picture is scattered across WhatsApp threads, a clipboard in a van, a spreadsheet on the desk, and someone's memory.

So work gets done twice. Two trades turn up to the same plot on the same morning. A snag raised on Friday never reaches the desk, and the developer finds it first. The cost isn't dramatic — it's a slow, daily leak of time, trust and goodwill.

Plotbook fixes the structure, not the people. We model the job the way the site is actually organised — customer → site → plot → area → task — so anything can be found by where it is. One place for the desk and the boots, from first fix to signed off.

We're invite-only and we onboard one company at a time, because a tool that organises the site only works if the site is set up properly first. That's a deliberate choice, and it's the reason it works on day one.

What we believe

Five things we won't compromise on.

01

Field-ready, or it doesn't ship.

If it doesn't work in low light, with gloves on, in a half-built house with no signal, it isn't finished. The site is the hardest environment software runs in — so we build for it first and let the desk inherit the polish.

02

The plot is the unit of work.

Everything hangs off the plot — photos, snags, check-ins, sign-offs. No abstractions the site doesn't use. If you can point at it on the development, you can find it in Plotbook.

03

Evidence, not opinions.

BEFORE and AFTER, pinned to the task, on the record. "Done" should be a fact you can see, not a claim you have to trust. That protects the trade as much as the developer.

04

Soft check-ins, never surveillance.

"I'm here / I've left", logged per plot — that's it. No timesheets, no tracking, no gotchas. We help the site coordinate; we don't police the people on it.

05

One job at a time, done right.

We'd rather onboard ten companies properly than a thousand badly. Invite-only isn't exclusivity — it's the only way to make sure the plots, sites and trades are set up so the first day on site actually lands.

Where we are

Early, deliberate, and on site.

We're onboarding UK & Ireland trade companies now — painting, decorating and the trades that run multiple developments at once.

Who's building it

A small team with mud on its boots.

Part product, part trade. Everyone here has either run a site or shipped the software that runs one.

PB

The desk

Office & ops

Schedulers, dashboards and sign-offs — the comfortable density a screen and a mouse deserve.

PB

The field

iOS & Android

Offline-first, big buttons, high contrast. Capture now, sync when there's bars.

PB

The platform

Infra & data

One source of truth, navy-tinted and quietly reliable. The plot model, end to end.

PB

On site

Onboarding

The people who set your sites up properly before anyone touches a phone in a doorway.

See your sites, by plot.

Half an hour, your own sites on the screen. We'll set up a plot or two and show you the desk and the field, end to end.
